Our Mission: The Harbor School Houston assists at-risk children and families navigate toward a strong future by providing high quality early childhood education in a Christian environment.

The Harbor School Houston is an early childhood center located in the Memorial Drive / West Spring Branch area of Houston, Texas. We operate a full-day, year-round preschool program, using a center-based curriculum. While many full-day programs in the area offer only daycare, The Harbor School offers a high-quality, curriculum-based preschool program serving children ages two through five. In addition, we accept enrollment applications year-round, and not just during a single enrollment period.

There is a great disparity in both family income and childcare options available within the area surrounding The Harbor School. We are pleased to serve our community by offering a program that is affordable for children from a variety of backgrounds. As a vendor for the Texas Workforce Commission’s Childcare Program, we accept families who are eligible to receive childcare subsidies through this program. But, no matter what your financial situation, we offer the same high quality preschool program to all Harbor School students.

The Harbor School Houston currently accepts children ages two years through five years.  We are located on the campus of St. Thomas Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas.  We operate our program in a Christian environment and use a center-based curriculum to support cognitive, spiritual, social, emotional and physical growth in our students.  We operate a full-day program, Monday through Friday, year-round (with the exception of certain holidays), which enables our parents to pursue education or employment opportunities during the day.

The Harbor School, Inc. d/b/a The Harbor School Houston is a Texas nonprofit corporation; it is tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3).
